Simple to Use

Parents must have a stroller and car seat combination that is simple to use. These travel systems make it simple to switch between running errands, walking your dog, or going for a run. They also help you keep up with your little one's changing needs, so that you can concentrate on your family adventures. Our testers love how smoothly and conveniently these travel systems glide, whether they have only one front wheel or a swiveling front wheel. The Thule Urban Glide 2 Combo, the BOB Alterrain pro combo, and the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo are easy to maneuver. However, even the BOB Revolutionflex 3.0 Combo and the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo can be moved with one hand.
Some models can be difficult to attach or remove from the base. The Doona Combo, for example requires a two-step attach procedure and straps that are placed over the infant's bottom part. It is tempting to bypass these steps, but this could lead to unsafe results.
Additionally, some models are difficult to fold and store away and store away, making them less convenient than others. The Graco FastAction 3-in-1 Car Seat Stroller, for instance, is hard to fold due to its massive dimensions and bulky frame. The model also has a tiny canopy that some test users find disappointing. The Britax Parkway Combo Click and Go is simple to fold, with only one button and a pull of the lever. This model is an excellent option for parents who wish to use their car seat in other vehicles, since it can be easily detached from the base.
Easy to Fold
It should be easy to fold and unfold the car seat, regardless of whether you're storing it inside your trunk, or in the closet. The most effective combinations we've tested fold easily with one hand and are sturdy enough to be used on long walks. They are also easy to maneuver and glide effortlessly over uneven surfaces. We've seen some combos that can only be attached or removed using straps, which may seem like an extra step and make it more difficult for parents to ensure that the car seat is secured properly.
2 in 1 prams are awestruck by the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo due to its practical features and sturdy build, which include a large storage basket that's accessible from front to back. Its exclusive SafeCenter LATCH makes it easy to secure a car seat installation by connecting the lower anchors, pulling the straps tight and then pressing the carrier into the base.
It's also fairly light which makes it a great choice for frequent travelers or families with multiple vehicles. The Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the Thule Urban Glide 2 have also scored highly in our tests of ease-of-use. Both feature one front wheel that's simple to push (one-handed! ), as well as an swivel front wheel that can be swiveled that's perfect for shopping or running around. The only downside is that they're quite heavy and therefore it can be tricky to lift them up when you're carrying a child in the car seat.
Easy to Assemble
Some stroller and car seat combinations can be difficult to put together. We found that the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo was one of the easiest to put together, and it even comes with a quick-start guide that makes putting this travel system together easy. Other models, including the UPPAbaby Minu and UPPAbaby Vista v2, Thule urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also fairly easy to assemble. The BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo, on the other hand isn't easy to put together. It requires two steps to attach the lower anchors, and using straps to cover the bottom of the carrier. It's also heavy, and it takes two hands to click the carrier into the base and detach it from the base.
In our tests, it took around 5 minutes to put together the UPPAbaby v2 Cruz. This is a relatively easy process when you consider the time saved by not having to remove all the individual pieces. The toddler seat can be attached and removed easily on the majority of these models.
